Dr. iur. Nicola Moser
Dr. Nicola Moser, geboren 1986 in Appenzell, absolvierte sein Studium an der Universität Basel und schloss dieses 2011 mit dem Prädikat «summa cum laude» ab. He received his doctorate in law in 2015, for which he was awarded the Prof. Walther Hug Prize and the Prix d’Excellence of the Swiss Society for Liability and Insurance Law. In 2022, Nicola Moser obtained the CAS IRP-HSG Liability and Insurance Law continuing education title at the University of St. Gallen.
Nicola Moser initially worked at the University of Basel as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Corinne Widmer Lüchinger. After completing legal and court internships, he was admitted to the Basel-Landschaft bar in 2016. He then worked for several years as a court clerk at the Civil Court of Basel-Stadt and as an associate lawyer at LEXPARTNERS . Nicola Moser has been an independent lawyer since January 2020. His focus is on conducting complex court disputes, particularly in the area of civil law. He also has many years of expertise in administrative law matters. Nicola Moser is admitted to practice before all Swiss courts and litigates primarily in northwestern and eastern Switzerland.
Nicola Moser is Vice President of the Basel-Landschaft Bar Association and a member of the Appenzell and Swiss Bar Associations. He is also involved in politics, on various administrative and foundation boards and as a lecturer in private law at the University of Basel. He is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Haftung und Versicherung (HAVE). In the military, he holds the rank of major as a court clerk at the Military Court of Cassation.
